Detonating Fuse

To meet the needs of the mining, quarrying, and construction industries, Beezaasan Explotech manufactures a variety of detonating cords. Detonating cords are used to initiate commercial explosives that feature sensitive detonators, such as cast boosters, dynamites, and emulsions. They also provide a means to activate non-electric detonators.

The core of the detonating cord consists of PETN (pentaerythritol tetranitrate), which is encased in multiple layers of polypropylene yarn. This is then over-extruded with a polyethylene jacket and reinforced with high-strength textile yarns.
